Why does the gameplay on xbox flashes when i try to record???!!?

So here's my setup I have a new 250 GB Xbox S, with a router about 4 feet from it, in the same room, with the wireless connection. For about the whole time, I never had much lag issues, but just recently, It seems as though every game I play is a lag fest for just me and no one else in the game. I thought 5.75 mb s was a good speed, but what really is a good speed for xbox. I'm not really looking for a sufficient speed, rather than a good speed that I wouldn't have lag issues with.I have opened ports on my router, too.

Airsoft gun, xbox headset, or beats by dre?
I know this is a weird selection but i go tan airsoft gun for christmas but it wasnt that great so i returned it for $200. I now can either get another airsoft gun, a great xbox 360 headset, or beats by dre possibly something else but this is what came to mind. The reason i'm hesitant on just getting another airsoft gun is because im moving from a rural area to a more suburban area so i wont really have anywhere to play airsoft like i do here moving in june . i already have a turtle beach x11 headset but i think it's slightly breaking up so i though, why not get another. The beats by dre just popped into my mind cuz alot of my friends have them... SO yeah i'm pretty indecisive in this situation. If I get another headset I'm aiming toward an x41 or maybe a nice tritton...? Anyway please tell me what you think. I'm a 14 year old boy if that makes a difference
