Why do young kids ignore the ESRB video game rating?
Why do young kids ignore the rating that's given on a video game? What's your opinion on this? Should they enforce laws in prohibiting the selling of mature themed games to minors? Or should we just let it be?

What do you think about young kids playing games rated m for mature ?Like My mom's friend bought her 10 11 yr old Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.. and i was like wow that game has a lot of stuff that kids shouldnt see like picking up hookers,going in strip clubs,etc. And she just bout it cause he wanted it. Her friend was like that game has too much violence letting u kill people too.And me and my bf were discussing it and kids and i asked him what he thought and he's 19 and he's like " im not even mature enough for that game, but played it, but young kids shouldnt play games rated m" and i so agree with him.But then my mom mentioned my game the sims 2 how u can have sex but the sims 2 is rated T 4Teens , but its not like they show it..But i wanted to see what other people thought and i thought its a good discussion

Why are video games rated harsher than movies or tv shows?
so children don't watch tv or movies? look im not a video game buff but i have grown up with them and and age 30 it would be nice to play a game that says " hey im old enough for this stuff" . so whats the deal walmart, target, so on and so on. won't carry " ao" games and the platforms wont carry them but we can sell hardcore music albums and unrated movies like they have no affect on the " minds of children"
