Why are all new video games priced equally? All games are not created equally.?
Games have different costs to make and have different levels of popularity. Many games don't deserve to be priced at the full price if they aren't up to the standards of the best games. Why then are they all priced the same when they are released?

Why do video game prices drop soon after launch?
SSX was released for PS3 and prob XBox in early March 2012. At that time it cost about 40.It is only 1 month after release April 2012 and it costs only 25. I have seen this revised price at Asda website and Play.com.I am wondering whether anyone knows why the price has dropped on this game in particular?In general, I wonder if video game manufacturers and retailers still make enough profit selling games at 25. Perhaps the 25 is a temporary price.
