Going back to my old roots and playing only sports video games. Do you agree with me?
So for years since the Genesis up to 2002 when I had my Xbox. All I played was sports games. Then working at EB Games alot of my co workers and customers thought that just playingsports games was true gaming. So they got me into shooters and RPGs. So I would stillbuy sports games but I would spread my time playing other genres. So this year I boughtRed Dead Redeption, Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock 2. I bought all those games of day 1launch. And I finished Mass Effect 2 but still have not touched RDR and Bioshock 2. AllI have been spending my time on is NHL 11, NBA 2k11, and NCAA Football 11 also FIFA 11. I seem to have lost interest playing non sports games. And I am thinking of goingback to just playing sports game, don't want to waist money. I will buy Gears 3 in 2011.So would you agree with me and stick with sports games only. Would you do what I am doing.

Why are sports video games named one year ahead?
For example, it is 2011 but the FIFA game that was released was named FIFA '12. Why is that?

Know any good futuristic sports video games?
Or games similar to American Gladiators and other game shows, I suppose.Like Smash Tv where two guys get sent into this labyrinth and they get attacked by armies of people or swarms of flying stuff they have to defend themselves against, or Blast Chamber where a bunch of people get sent into various huge spinning rooms full of death traps.A sports game example I enjoy is Hyperblade, which basically is a futuristic combat hockey game where you can score with a puck or you can just kill everyone and win that way.Lastly I can think of Cyberball which is some kind of rugby, if I'm not confused.Think obscure.Something you gather most people haven't heard about. It can be oldschool or indie or just plain overlooked by the gaming majority.Cause I'm looking for that which I have missed. It's been hard for me to find these kinda games, and I've stumbled onto many of them by accident.
Skill ratings in sports video games?
Why do sports games only rate athletes up to 99? Only once have I seen the rating at 100 and that is for Randy Moss's Jumping and Devin Hester's Speed in Madden 09. Why not just go all the way?

Do Teams matter in EA Sports video games?
I own the EA Sports Madden 2010 video game. I also have the EA Sports soccer and hockey games. Does it matter what team I pick when I play these games? Or is the only thing that matters my level of skill? For example, if I'm a good video game player and I pick the Detroit Lions for my team, will I beat a weak player who picks the Pittsburgh Steelers?
Should EA sports make a multi sport video game?
I think it would be cool, have a video game with baseball, hockey, basketball, football and soccer, it would probably be hard, but come on wouldn't it be cool?
EA Sports video game FIFA 2009 on PS3 Ultimate team issues.Why does it freeze up all the time?
After playing the 5 trial games no issue here,actually worked just fine ,I can't play ANY games anymore.Yes,NONE I tried the regular,exhibiton games,and right after the " warm up" countdown the part right before the actual game,where you can practice your kicks,etc. ,it just freezes up Nothing works after that.I mean NOTHING.As soon as the clock counts down to Zero,a picture comes up with the 2 opposite goalkeepersNOT the player that you just practiced with,YES,you read that right and it just freezes.Every single time Restarted that process like a dozen times now, including the online feature w o any success.Cleaned the disc drive...still nothing Tried other discs,they're just fine.WTF is going on here? Somebody help,PLEASE
