Ps3 or pc for gaming?
i dunno if i should get a ps3 or pc to be my new gaming platform here are the points about each PS3 i can only just afford it, i'll be broke after getting it i'd be playing it on a lower quality tv just cuz my dad is on the bravia too often for me to get any serious gaming in there i like the perks of having free online and recharging controller but i have to say i don't really care about bluray, which is what makes it cost so much from what ive read i have some friends who have ps3 so i could party up with them whereas none of them are pc gamers no need to upgrade for compatibility i could pretty much pick it up tomorrow since it'll be with my own money, im getting a little restless PC my current one is pretty old like 2002 so my dads open for getting a new one, im thinking of getting this one if i can bestbuy.ca catalog proddetail.asp?sku id 0926INGFS10119977& catid 20217& PCName desktop %5F1000 %5Fover& logon & langid EN i have to say i do prefer sitting at my desktop to game rather than using my tv that i'd use the ps3 with if all goes well, i wouldn't have to pay for the pc b c of a few academic things i got noticed for that he said i'd get rewarded for but he would never buy me a ps3 since its basically pure gaming and hes not a fan of me gaming too much from what i know, the graphics card that comes with the pc i have in mind isnt the best out so i'd prlly have to get a better oneexamples of games i'd be playing if i got either would be fallout3, oblivion and cod4. any suggestions reasons as to which one i should go for?

Which of those should I get for modern day gaming? I have a widescreen HD TV if I get a PS3 or an XBox 360. I like shooter games like COD and MOH. I also like role playing.I was thinking more toward 360 or PS because updating your computer nearly every 6 months is really expensive.
